Promo Codes
Promo codes are entered once, during checkout on the Purchase page - there's no separate place to redeem one after the fact.
What a code can do
A valid promo code grants a free trial period on a new subscription. The length of the trial, which plans it applies to, how many times it can be redeemed in total, and whether it has an expiration date are all set per-code - so not every code behaves the same way.
If a code doesn't work
An invalid, expired, or exhausted code simply doesn't apply a trial - your checkout still proceeds normally as a regular paid purchase, it just won't be discounted. Double-check for typos and that you're using it on an eligible plan; if you believe a code should be working and isn't, contact support.
A few things to know
- Codes only apply to new subscriptions at checkout - they can't be applied retroactively to a service you already have.
- A trial from a promo code delays your first charge, not the setup process - you'll still go through the full setup wizard right away.
